Your pledge helps us with financial planning for the coming year. This pledge represents your personal Christian commitment to use "our time, talents and money to serve Christ in the world" (ANZPB, p 937). Our parish budget will be prepared in light of the pledges received from members. A pledge is a statement of intent, not a legal obligation. It can be changed at any time. What you give is between you and God. The only other person who will know is the Parish Recorder, who keeps a record and issues a tax certificate in April each year.
